Random Acts of Kindness

We wanted to mark Random Acts of Kindness Day on 17th February, as we are really proud of our inclusive community where kindness is so important to us!

We are inviting a number of local businesses, groups and the local community to take part in our Random Act of Kindness Challenge which we are running from 17th February to the end of the month. This is a simple, positive way to support inclusion, boost engagement, and make a visible difference.

What is the Random Act of Kindness Challenge?
Participating companies receive a card created with people we support, with either a compliment or what kindness means to them. We would then encourage companies to share this and engage with their staff and ask them to think what they can do as part of this challenge.

If during these two weeks a staff member does a random of act of kindness, we would love them to post it on social media and tag both your company and Acorn Village into their post.

How your organisation can get involved and why:

  • Register your interest by emailing: supportus@acornvillages.com
  • Make an entry donation of £100 to join the challenge
  • A positive, low effort activity staff and the community can enjoy together
  • High visibility social media engagement using a shared hashtag (we will confirm this on entry)
  • Inclusion on our dedicated page on our website (company logo and link to your website)
  • We will use an image of your choice, alongside a few sentences about your company (to be provided by you) and a link to your website on our social media posts and the post will be shared in our local community groups to reach a wider audience alongside our dedicated followers
  • A clear way to demonstrate your commitment to inclusion and community impact
  • Easy tracking of reach and engagement for your CSR or ESG reporting

We will provide suggested social posts and a short briefing about our charity and the people we support.
