For many of the adults we support, Day Services at Acorn Village are so much more than activities — they’re a lifeline.

Through a rich variety of workshops — from art, music and drama to gardening, baking, sensory sessions and life skills — individuals are empowered to express themselves, try new things, and feel proud of what they achieve.

Some come to us quiet and unsure. Over time, with gentle encouragement and a safe, welcoming environment, they begin to open up. A smile during painting. A laugh in the garden. A proud moment sharing a home-cooked meal. These are the moments that change lives.

At Acorn, we believe that every person has something to offer and something to say. Day Services help them say it — in colour, in movement, in connection — and always with dignity and delight.

Because here, life is for living — and every day is a chance to shine.
