Thank you so much to everyone that supported Acorn Village this Learning Disability Week!
Itβs been a jam-packed and incredibly successful week!
Weβd like to say a special thank you to:
π The Children's Gardening Coach and City & Country for allowing some of our residents and tenants to be involved in a community project to help enhance the Wildflower Area at the Manningtree Park development, a short walk from Acorn Village. The project reflects the spirit of Learning Disability Week by promoting includsion and recognising the importance of ensuring people with learning disabilities are seen, heard, and valued in their communities.

π Blue Owl Pottery Studio for helping to raise awareness and funds for Acorn Village.
π Lawford Service Station for organising fundraising activities, including a fabulous hamper raffle for their customers.
π The team at Allianz for taking part in our volunteering days again this year, and to Lorraine and her two friends for generously giving their time to volunteer during the week.

π Everyone who joined us at our coffee morning in the High Street Shop. It was a fantastic success and a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness of Learning Disability Week and share more about the work we do at Acorn Village.
We are incredibly grateful for all the support we have received. Thank you for helping us celebrate, raise awareness, and make a difference.
