Cycling to success

They did it !! Acorn Village residents & tenants completed their 50 miles for 50 years challenge!

This week they received their well deserved medals!!

Cycling at the Acorn Village #WheelsforAll hub using adapted cycles, residents clocked up 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 50 miles throughout August and September to celebrate their 50th Anniversary
In 1975, Acorn Village opened it's doors to its first 13 residents with learning disabilities. It now supports over 55 residents and tenants and over 100 people benefit from workshops facilitated by Day Services.

At Acorn Village we continue to enhance the lives of adults with learning disabilities and make a difference, fulfilling the motto 'Life is for Living'.
