Counselling invites clients to express and explore their thoughts and feelings in a confidential and safe space to enable change, growth and emotional wellbeing.

The therapeutic approach of support is one of understanding, acceptance and non-judgement and is largely person-centred; supporting clients to process the things they choose to bring to the weekly sessions to ultimately find their own way forward.

There are a variety of reasons someone might want to engage in counselling including:

  • Process trauma
  • Develop coping strategies to manage depression or anxiety
  • Manage relationship difficulties
  • Negotiate significant life transitions
  • Personal development
